Grown in Phoenix Mountains located in Chaozhou of China’s Guangdong Province, Jiang Hua Xiang (Ginger Flower) Dancong is also called Tong Tian Xiang, which means its aroma is so lingering and longlasting that it can reach up into the sky described by the local tea people. This Jiang Hua Xiang Dan Cong enjoys natural, high ginger flower aroma and taste; delicate tea liquid with lingering ginger flower taste in the mouth. It can be brewed up to over 10 times, the pleasant ginger flower will still exist in the infused tea leaves after over 10 times infusion.
Just like other Dancong oolongs, Jiang Hua Xiang Dancong is also light-roasted, the making technique is extremely important & crucial, otherwise the special ginger flower aroma will not appear. Our Jiang Hua Xiang Dancong is hand-made by the local skillful old tea masters. During the production of this ginger aroma dancong the tea masters will have to stay up the whole night to make sure enough & proper Zuoqing process, which is extremely crucial to have the ginger flower aroma out.
