Lei Gong Mountain Silver Ball Tea
Silver ball tea is a unique tea variety in round shape in 18-20mm diameter, the leaves are in silver greyish and dark greenish color. Sliver Ball tea is originally produced in Lei Gong Mountain which is a famous nature reserves zone in Lei Shan County of China’s Guizhou Province. Teagardens are located in Lei Gong Shan National Nature Reserve between 1300-1400 meters above sea level.
The tea leaves are picked with a bud with 2 leaves before Chinese Qing Ming Festival, growing in the plantation over an altitude of 1400 meters. After being fried, processed, refined and shaped for pellets. Each “ball” is in diameter 18-20 mm and weighs 2.5 grams around. When brewing, generally use one ball in a cup.
