Brief Introduction to
Tian Mu Qing Ding (Heavenly Blue Peaks) Green Tea

Tian Mu Qing Ding tea, known as one of Zhejiang’s most famous classic green teas, is originally produced in Tianmu Mountain of Lin’an County, Zhejiang. Tian Mu Shan (Tian Mu Mountain) is due west of Hangzhou, near the edge of Zhejiang Province and recognized to be one of China’s major tea-producing areas. Tian Mu Mountain tea has been well known since the Tang Dynasty (1200 years ago).

Good mountain produces good tea! Tianmu Mountain covers 4,284 acres with elevation from 300m to 1556m, and it’s a typical forest ecosystem and landscape of middle subtropical regions. As the mountain lies on the north edge of middle subtropical region and is meanwhile affected by its particular structure, the climate here is cool in summer and warm in winter. The average temperature is 14°C. Fertile red soil widely spreads in the area. All of these provide a perfect environment for the growing of tea trees.

The picking standard for TianMu QingDing is one bud with 1-2 tender leaves. The production procedures are complex covering fixing, drying, spreading, re-baking, baking, etc. Only few experienced tea masters can be competent for the work.

Tianmu Qingding green tea has tip and straight shape, covered by pekoe on the whole surface, presents deep green color. With the unique clean aroma of green tea, the Organic Tian Mu Qing Ding Green Tea tastes fresh and mellow when brewed. The soup looks bright green and the buds and leaves are clear. It is a premium organic tea with good shape, nice aroma and fragrant flavor. Very nice to enjoy!
