Pu-Erh Tea Cake
Pu Erh Tea Cake, also known as Round Tea, belongs to compressed Pue Erh tea. With a round cake shape, it has a nice appearance and looks quite like a full moon. Pu Erh Tea Cake is the most typical representative of compressed Pu Erh tea. They range from as small as 100g to as large as 5 kg or more in weight, with 357g and 400g being the most common. Depending on the pressing method, the edge of the disk can be rounded or perpendicular. They are also commonly known as Qizi Bingcha (七子餅茶, literally “seven units cake tea”) because seven pieces of the cake are packaged together at a time for sale or transport.
