Brief Introduction to
Orange Pu-erh Tea
Orange Pu-erh Tea (also called Dried Orange Peel Pu-erh Tea, Chenpi Puer) is a perfect combination of Xinhui Orange Peel from Guangdong Province and high-quality Menghai Ripe Pu-erh Tea from Yunnan Province. Xinhui Citrus is a special local product in Xinhui of China’s Guangdong Province. As early as in the Song Dynasty, it has been one of the “canton goods” in the North-South trade. During Tongzhi Period of the Qing Dynasty, the Citrus became a tribute, and the Empress Dowager Cixi highly praised XinHui Citrus. There are such reputations “Millennium Ginseng, Century Citrus” and “Century Citrus wins gold”. For Citrus, the longer it’s kept, the better it tastes. Among the citruses throughout China, the citrus produced in Guangdong is recognized to be the best one. During the old trade history, it was called “Canton Citrus”, which is exactly different with other provinces. And XinHui Citrus is the best among Canton Citrus.
