Li Yang Cui Bai Green Tea
Originated from Liyang of China’s Jiangsu Province, Li Yang Cui Bo is one of Chinese famous green teas. Liyang is located in the Jiangsu South Plain and is crisscrossed by numerous bodies of water, including five lakes and lots of rivers. The city’s abundant freshwater is the crucial resource for its agricultural sector and tourist-oriented service industry.
Like its neighbors, Liyang is on the subtropical belt and its weather is influenced by a maritime monsoon climate, a mild and humid climate with distinct four seasons. The annual average temperature is 15-16ºC with the highest 38.6ºC recorded in the summer of 1988 and the lowest -15ºC in the winter of 1977. The annual average rainfall is 1,160 mm and the total sunshine time is close 2,000 hours.
Liyang is a county-level city with a history of 2,200 years. This name started using in 221 B.C, the Spring-Autumn Warlord Period. In Sui Dynasty (591 A.D), Liyang was officially established as a prefecture.
